School Tuition Organization Scholarships (STOs), are funded by private donors and are administered by North Central Iowa STO. All families at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Guideline qualify even if you receive ESA funds from the state of Iowa.

Why Should You Apply for ESA and STO Funds?

Families can receive both forms of tuition assistance. Applying for both ESA and STO funds gives your family the best chance at receiving the most assistance and makes a private Christian education more affordable for all families. Remaining ESA funds can be used to cover future tuition costs or can be used for other eligible educational expenses.

STO Scholarships

Education Savings Account

Education Savings Accounts (ESAs), are funds from the state of Iowa that all families are eligible for in 2025. These funds can be used to cover tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at accredited nonpublic schools in Iowa.

If you are a first time user, parents/guardians will need to create an account in Odyssey with an email and password. Parents/guardians will receive a message from Odyssey asking them to confirm their email address. After the email is confirmed, the parent/guardian can sign in to the Odyssey portal to begin their application.

Parents/guardians with an existing Odyssey portal account will log in to the existing account to begin the application for the 2025-2026 school year.

You can use leftover ESA funds from the previous year to help pay for tuition that is not covered by your current year’s ESA funds. All you have to do is fill out an ESA contract and submit it to the office.
